WBE Car Rider Arrival

Remember the law!
You cannot be on your cell phone in a school zone. School zones are hands-free.

Morning Single Car Rider Lane

Doors will open each morning at 8:00 am. All students who arrive prior to 8:15 will go to the gym. Students arriving after 8:15, will report to their classroom. Parents will not be allowed to go to classrooms unless they have a scheduled meeting with the teacher. ALL visitors must sign in at the office. School begins at 8:30. It is our goal to have all students in their seats at 8:30. If students are in the car line waiting at 8:30, they will not be counted tardy.

All cars will use the right lane (the lane closest to the sidewalk). The first car in line should pull up all the way to the designated area identified by staff. (Please do not stop at the front doors to let your child out of the car.) Children should not exit your vehicle until you pass the mailbox and your child can walk on the sidewalk. Students should ONLY exit the vehicle through the RIGHT SIDE/DOORS of your car. Once your child is out of the car, pull forward and exit.

There will be staff available to assist students. We ask that parents do not get out of the car. If a parent is having difficulty getting a child out of the car, please pull back around into the parking lot and signal a staff member for assistance.

Parking

We encourage all parents to utilize the car rider line in the morning for arrival. We have staff positioned to assist children out of vehicles. The parking lot may not be used as a drop-off location. The parking lot is for parents who are volunteering or have other business at the school. Please always use the crosswalk when crossing the line of traffic. This will be strictly enforced.

Bus Lane

Please, do not park in the bus lane at any time.

Visitors and Volunteers

Visitors and volunteers are always welcome at WBE, but we do ask that students report to
their classrooms alone. Teachers are extremely busy during morning. Parents who feel the need to walk their children in should say their goodbyes at the front door. Only scheduled visitors will be admitted to classrooms. All visitors must check in with the office through our Lobby Guard system.

Walkers

All walkers must be escorted to the front door by an adult for drop-off.
